A study led by Professor Melanie Brinkmann (Helmholtz Center for Infection Research), the Heinrich-Pette-Institute, the Leibniz-Institute for experimental virology and the university hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf, comes to decisive results. There it says: “The main transmission took place in the dismantling area of the company, in which air is continuously circulated and cooled to ten degrees Celsius. In contrast, housing in shared accommodation did not play a significant role during the analysed phase of the outbreak.
